Susan Stevenson

Why I am runningfor Mayor of London

London has long been recognized as a great city. But as we grow, more and more Londoners are telling us that growth isn’t working for them.

At City Hall, success is too often measured by announcements, ribbon cuttings, and press releases. But that’s not what people see in their neighbourhoods. It’s not what they experience on their streets, in their businesses, or in their daily lives.

And right now, too many Londoners are worried about affordability, about safety, and about the future of their community.

They want a city that ...

Priorities

Better results for London.

Restore Safety and Pride in Our Neighbourhoods

Residents deserve to feel safe in their parks, on transit, in business districts, and in their own communities. London needs compassion with accountability, stronger enforcement, cleaner public spaces, and measurable results.

Support Small Business and Main Streets

Local independent businesses are the backbone of London's economy. City Hall must reduce red tape, revitalize commercial corridors, improve safety in business districts, and create conditions where entrepreneurs can succeed.

Bring Accountability Back to City Hall

Taxpayers deserve fiscal transparency and value for their money. Susan will focus on responsible spending, transparent decision-making, and a City Hall that is responsive to residents.

Improve Transportation and Mobility

London needs reliable transit, safer roads, and practical transportation planning that keeps neighbourhoods connected and helps residents get where they need to go.

Strengthen Practical Partnerships

The City cannot solve today's challenges alone. London needs stronger collaboration with neighbourhoods, businesses, health care providers, police, surrounding municipalities, and other levels of government.

Leadership That Shows Up

This election is about restoring confidence in our city and ensuring elected council listens to and works for the benefit of citizens and taxpayers in every neighbourhood.
